Accessibility statement

This site is built with the people who will use it

Accessibility is not a section of this site: it is how it gets built. Our commitment is to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 as a floor, not a ceiling.

How we verify it

• Real human validation: every version of this site is validated by an expert screen reader user — an associate of the institute — with her own assistive technology, before it is published. Nothing ships without her sign-off.
• Automated checks: every change goes through a technical accessibility audit before it is merged.
• Motion is optional: animations respect your system's reduced motion preference. Without it, the site works fully and identically.
• Light and dark themes: the site follows your system theme, and you can change it with the switch in the header.
• No trackers: we use no cookies and no analytics that identify you.

Current status

This is a prototype under validation (August 2026). There may be barriers we have not yet detected, and we want to know about them.
